the hotel is well located near the tube station. the reception area features fresh flowers and helpful staff.
i was surprised by a 5% discretionary charge added to the bill on checkout. the room rate should cover all costs and fees i think

I enjoyed the complimentary pressing service. It was useful before my meetings. the room had blackout curtains that ensured restful sleep at night. THE in-room Nespresso machine made mornings much easier. i found the turndown service with bottled water a nice touch.
the gym was quite busy during peak hours. i sometimes had to wait for equipment, it was a small inconvenience.

discretionary charge distant location
Honestly, my stay wasn't the best. i was told upon arrival that there was a discretionary charge added to the bill. I found that a bit cheeky. the room rate should cover all costs, right? it definitely put a damper on things. also, the location wasn't great. It was pretty far from most places i wanted to go (maybe i should have researched better).

I love this hotel. The staff are friendly. They pay attention to all details. The gym had many equipment. The location is near Liverpool Street station.
The breakfast service was very slow. The dining area was crowded. I waited long for orange juice.
